I started to work for Life In The Ozarks in August, 2005. I enjoy working for this paper, because it's vision is to preserve the past, which I think is very important. I never was into history in high school, but as I have gotten older it started to come to life for me. Then I started doing family trees and I got hooked. I believe that we need to remember the past, because of the struggle that our pioneer settlers endured forging new territories, so that we can be thankful for where we are.

When I came to work here, I only had a basic knowledge of computers. Alice taught me almost everything I know now about computers. She is a very good teacher and I am grateful that she gave me a chance to work for Life In The Ozarks.
