Gus & Sadie Chambers
Gus and Sadie may not always agree about the newpapers business, but they do agree it's a dogs life keeping all the humans inline and on deadline!

About Sadie - Sadie was a gife to Alice from her sister. Sadie was in need of a good home and Alice needed a good dog. Larry was not a happy camper to have another dog in the family but after his initial determination not to become attached, it was apparent that Sadie came to stay.

From day one she just moved right in, as if she had always been there. Since Sadie was very small she found herself a good spot on Alice and Larry's bed and has been sleeping with them ever since. As Alice states it "She has trained us well, we know right when to feed her, right when to let her out, and even where she likes to sit." She even has her own chair at the office. Spoiled? Well let's just say she knows both of Alice & Larry very well and is very exact about what she wants and needs.

About Gus - Gus was literally thrown from a car in front of Larry's cabinet shop. Larry took him in and cared for him. Gus has become the keeper and protector of the cabinet shop and the Life In The Ozarks office. He guards the fort and let's us know when visitors arrive. With the addition of Sadie to the family, Gus has turned into a family dog with a great personality.

Until Sadie came along Gus was mostly Larry's dog. But, Sadie taught Gus how to play and share. Oh, he is still the gate keeper during the day at the office, but when Gus goes home, he is ready to play. Gus enjoys his morning rides in Larry's truck to work every day and is anxious to get on the road in the morning. He's also very ready to come home in the evening. The two of them are great buddies and part of the Chambers family.
