"I can't remember when I didn't want to write. I know I started writing poetry when I was in elementary school and gradually moved into writing stories."

The first major story Bill ever wrote was his dad's life story. This was before he got his first computer, so he filled several yellow legal pads with the handwritten version. When he got my first computer, the first project he took on was to transfer his dad's life story to his newly acquired computer. Bill writes for his own pleasure because "it gives me great satisfaction when someone else enjoys my efforts."
