Ed writes the 'Hopeful' Column and 'Colloquial Ramblings' for Life In The Ozarks.
Ed Burns is retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years as an Aircraft and Missile technician. After retiring he went to college (in Denver Colorado) under the GI Bill and got his degree. Afterward he taught Vocational Education for 12 years before retiring again. He and his wife moved to Bee Branch, Arkansas. in 1990 and there is where he decided to write as a hobby. Thanks to his wife's help, his computer and spell check, he has had many articles published in four local news papers over the years.
His favorite saying is by Plato "The imagination is more valuable than knowledge. Knowledge has limits- Imagination does not!" Ed and his wife now live in Conway, Arkansas.
