Leon Cooper
Leon has been a horseman for nearly 30 years and has written articles about horses,
as well as a regular column "Horsen Around".

He was born on Bear Creek in Searcy County, Arkansas, and lives just 300 feet from
where he was born. Leon rides his horses almost every day, as well as trail rides with
other folks. He loves taking photos along the Buffalo National River. Leon is the author of
"Call Me Newt", about the life and adventures of his great great grandfather.
